Bacterial vaginosis

im 34 weeks and found out today I have Bacterial vaginosis and was given antibiotics. Anyone else had this?

@alley_blake... totally understand reason why u wana wait cuz i was same way, however just be really careful because ive had untreated BV before and it caused me preterm labor at 36 weeks. Take care.

They wanted to putme on medication for it but decided to wait till after I have my son because it can make you nauseous and I already have problems with keeping food down.

I have it for awhile now. Mainly discharge and discomfort with sex. It's really annoying my ph balance is so bad :/ I try to use gentle soap and bought this over the counter gel that it's inserted into vagina called "refresh" my doc recommended it. I have yet to try it hopefully this all goes away after birth.

Ive had it, i just had watery discharge and thought i was leaking. A lil bit of itching too, got treated with antibiotics but found relief more with vagisil itching cream

that's weird. I haven't had any symptoms at all just some discharge last night and that's why they checked me. Wanted to make sure I didn't have a rupture and was leaking fluid.

They said I had it and I took the antibiotics and it did nothing at all and that was months ago..I had all the symptoms of a yeast infection and no symptoms of bv..and the only thing that helps me is yeast infection medication. So I think they diagnosed me wrong...thats just my experience. I'm now almost 29 weeks.

I'm not really worried about it. They gave me the antibiotics. I know it can cause problems but that's only if you don't get it taken care of..was just wondering how many others have had it.

I did I took the pills they gave me and it went away. Its nothing to be worried about. Im ftm 20 weeks.
