Bed Rest???
Under what conditions does a dr usually put you on bed rest?? I went to the ER today and got discharged because I was just having braxton hicks, but im home and drinking plenty of water but every time I stand up I get a contraction so I am wondering if he is gonna put me on bed rest for a few days or not.
I was put on BR for" a spontaneous abortion".. in layman terms threatened miscarriage...
I went in to labor last week and had to.have emergancy surgery to save whats left of my cervix im just now 22 1/2 weeks and im on bed rest the rest of my pregnancy.
There's many reasons for bed rest... I was put on bed rest with my first due to kidney stones. Then later in the pregnancy for pitted edema. My second pregnancy I was put on bed rest for a weekend due to preterm labor.. (not braxton hicks).
