My doctor said that the way to tell if its labor or braxton Hicks is to lay down, drink water and time them. If they get stronger, they're real labor pains. Other oncoming signs of labor is a weight loss of 1-3 pounds, lots of soft bowel movements, baby moving less often and loosing fluids (waters breaking)! Good luck and keep us posted!
I'm over due with a day. Been getting contractions but they don't stay. My back hurts a lot too. I have an induction schedule but I really want to go to labor by myself.
So i iust had one braxton hick while i was aslep, and my lower back hurt to the point were i woke up.. I went to l&D before with hard contractions, but not much pain.. I think it might be it.. Im going to walk and bounce on my ball and see if it helps.. Thanks moms..
