Can you still go into labor without losing your mucus plug or your water breaking. I have been having symptoms of labor from what people have been telling me. But I have not lost those things not that I know of at least.

I didn't lose my mucus plug, went into labor but was dilating slowly so they gave me pitocin and about 6 hours later I got my epidural then an hour and a half later my water broke on it's own. But my son's heart rate was getting low and so was my blood pressure and I still wasn't dilating so I needed a c section.

I did not lose my mucus plug (that I know of) with any of my pregnancies and they broke my water at the hospital with all 3. I went into labor on my own with my first 2 and was induced with my 3rd.

I didn't feel them break my water. I got there at 11 pm and they waited to break my water until the next day because I was positive for the strep b with my daughter. By the time they broke it I had my epidural so it wasn't bad lol.

Yes I did with my daughter 6 yrs ago. I had contractions but didn't lose my plug or dilate. I had to be given patocin and had to have my water broke at the hospital.
