☆Belly Casts☆
Have any of you ladies tried doing the pregnancy casts? I know you can order kits online but I'd like to do my own at home. Can any of you ladies offer help or advice?? Please and thank you!!!
Make sure you check online to make sure that the materials you use are safe on a pregnant belly. Some casting materials can trap lots of heat, enough that they can raise fetal temperature enough to be dangerous while the cast is setting.
I had a cast made by a friend who creates special effects for movies and he did plenty of research first but I don't know what he used - he kept the mold to make more big belly prosthetics, my baby belly has been torn apart by zombies in a movie already :-) makes me feel better about not doing anything with the cast he made for me!

Was it easy enough? My husband will be doing it lol makes me a little nervous. What all do you need to do it?
It is super messy. My mom helped me the with my first two pregnancies we used gause and plaster of paris .
