Birth Control post pregnancy

Hey ladies! At my last Doctors visit, my Doctor asked me what my plan was after the baby when it comes to birth control (he actually was kind of a jerk about it saying I 'Better figure it out before my next appointment'...I just mentally flipped him the bird). I had not really thought to much about it in all honesty because I always just planned on using condoms, but it did get me thinking. What do you ladies plan on using? I really hate to pump my self full of anything I don't need to, and I know that some BC can make it harder to breast feed. What is your opinion? I also do not want to battle extra weight gain which I know some women do have to deal with when taking the pill/shot/IUD.

I love the copper IUD. Hormones make me feel awful, and I got pregnant on the mini-pill haha

I use a diaphragm no hormones so you won't gain any weight. It is really easy to use and it gets the job done.  I don't like taking birth control my body can't tolerate it.. it makes me very sick.. and I also don't like gaining weight so for me this was the best option.

I was on the POP when I fell pregnant as well but I like it cause it stops my periods completely so as soon as my 6 week check came she put me straight back on it, although a different one from what I was on originally x

I got pregnant with this baby on the mini pill haha! I will NOT be going on that again. Can you get the coil whilst breast feeding? That's what I was going to go for but not looked into it yet

I got the depo shot 6 weeks after my son was born, and I breast fee him. Not sure this time around though....

I'll be getting the mini pill as soon as I can get a doctors appointment. No one even discussed the different contraception options with me lol and my lil one is already here

Yeah Im on the progesterone only pill and you can take that while breastfeeding. X

You can take the mini pill and thats what I'll be going on after I've established my supply. hubby is very understanding about wait the 6 weeks post delivery and maybe more.
