Hi I just had my baby girl 2 weeks ago via emergency csection and was curious to when I could resume birth control my doctor has already gave me the new prescription so I can before my 6 week visit but curious to when.you ladies have? Thank you.

You can start taking it now if the doctor has given it to you, but it is not recommended that you have sex until after 6 weeks as your body needs time to heal.

I was always told to start when you start your period I would double.check with your dr

I've always started at 6 weeks, and I've had 3 c sections. But that's when my Dr wrote the script.
