I had the mirena IUD for 3 1/2 yrs it gave me cysts but it worked as far as birth control goes & i never had periods while using it
I got on birth control right at 6 weeks. Three days of it dried up my milk so I had to quit and get my milk supply back up. If u don't plan on breastfeeding then I would go for it.
We used condoms until getting a Mirena IUD placed at my postpartum appointment after my son was born. Worked just fine for me for two years and then decided to have it removed to TTC again.
I plan on having a second at some point in my life, so I'm just going to stick to condoms. I may have gotten pregnant using condoms, but we had done it twice a day every day for 4 years. The fact it took me 4 years to get pregnant is good enough for me since I want them at least 5 years apart anyway. Plus I'm now single. 98% of my contraception will be the fact I won't have someone to do it with for a while. (;
I was on BC pills when I was a teenager. I got horrible headaches as well. My doctor said to switch pills but I just said nah and never took anything again.
I started the pill 6 wks after I had my daughter an it gave me horrible headaches which I weird because I was on it for 6 years before I had my daughter so then I tried the IUD an it gave me ovarian cysts so I went without... but now after I have our 2nd baby I'm gonna try the pill again never had problems with it
I'm planning on using condoms and exclusively breastfeeding. I actually got pregnant on the POP so don't want to use that again and I want to take a break from hormonal contraception for a while
With my 1st I tried nuvaring. Absolutely hated it. Did depo for awhile. Hated it,I bled non stop. Then tried the pill. With my 2nd I didn't get on any bc. It took 2 yrs to get pregnant again. This time im getting my tubes tied.
