I am 21 and have been on birth control pills since I was 14, I am wanting to try and get pregnant,  how long after stopping the birth control does it normally take??

I took bc from 15 until 22. I was  told to stop taking it for one month and to take prenatal vitamins during that month then once I have one regular cycle to start trying. I fell pregnant the first month of unprotected sex. I am now 35w2d with a baby boy.

I also had BC at an early age and never missed a dose until having it removed at 21 after being married for about six months. It took us 7 months. I was beginning to lose hope and totally stopped trying. The second I gave up I must have gotten pregnant. Lol. I gave up so much that I hadn't even realized that I missed 2 periods before I put two and two together.

Im currently 21. Got married at 20. After marriage we tried for 6 1/2 months before I got pregnant. I was also on bc since 14yo and stopped it at 20yo. So took half a year. My doctor had told me it would take awhile for bc to totally get out of body. so its normal for it to take awhile. Just have to be pashient.. and not focus on it. haha im now 38 weeks 3 days with a babygirl (; good luck!
