Bit worried

I'm currently 13 weeks pregnant, and had my ultrasound a few weeks ago where I saw the heartbeat and it registered 165 bpm, which the nurse said was really good. I'm still stressed out that I'm going to go for my next ultrasound and I'm going to find out something has gone wrong and I've had a missed miscarriage or something. I still have symptoms of pregnancy...I'm nauseas a fair bit, tired constantly, and have started getting headaches and slight dizziness...but the nausea is starting to fade, and I'm not AS tired as what I was...I had a miscarriage last November so that's why I'm so worried, and this is the first time I've gone this far in a pregnancy. I have my next ultrasound on the 5th, but i'm going slightly crazy waiting for it lol. Has anyone else experienced a missed miscarriage after hearing the heartbeat and while still having symptoms? Or am I unnecessarily worrying? And does anyone know some statistics? :(

The vast majority of miscarriages happen in the first trimester.  Only a very small percentage happen in second.  So having had a 13 week ultrasound with a nice strong heartbeat is a very very good sign.  I understand your fear - I've experience miscarriage too, and it's so hard not to worry after having such a heartbreaking experience.  But odds are excellent that everything will be just fine.  Congratulations!

Dont stress about it ive only had 1 ultrasound and that was done at 10 weeks.  I heard the heartbeat and seen the baby...i am now 15 weeks and 4 days and i probably wont see my baby again until the anatomy scan but at every appt they check the babys heartbeat with the doppler...if they cant find it with a doppler dont stress they will get u an u/s...my babys heartbeat has been a steady 150bpm since the first time they found it, it hasnt flucuated at all.

Now 10wks having the same anxiety before every Dr visit almost to scared to go and almost have a panic attack on the way there. Had a miscarriage last Oct even after hearing heartbeat. Baby and sac were measuring couple wks off lost it around 9wks with baby measuring 7 wks. Have been to Dr every other wk for check up with u/s going back next week and my nerves are eating me up worried something will be wrong. It was also my second miscarriage which my first was twins one "vanished" @ wk 9 and the second @ wk 11. Dr said my % of it happening again has gone up a few points but I shouldn't be to concerned cause I have had one successful preg. But no matter what doc says I'm still scared and gonna be until I have baby in my arms even though everything measures to date this time. Don't know how I could handle going through another m/c.

First thing, having a strong heartbeat is very good. That drop your chance of miscarriage way down, to like 1% I think. So breath and relax. Second, symptoms like morning sickness come and go. Especially the farer along you are. All my symptoms went away overnight around 15 weeks and I got a little freak out then too. But Unless you have heavy bleeding or anything unusual, there's no reason to think there's anything wrong.
Plus we all worry right before a U/S, it just a part of being a mom. I'm at 36 wks now and every U/S I still hold my breath and wait for them to tell me something bad, it's just how our brain work.
So it's ok to worry but don't stress yourself out too much. I'm sure everything will be fine at your next appointment :)

As you are entering your 2nd tri-mester some of you symptoms will fade. The 2nd is usually when you're feeling at your best.  Not sure about the stats on missed miscarriages.
