Yes I had low iron with my first pregnancy but everything went back to normal after I gave birth. I had to take the pills 3 times a day also.

If I were you I'd look for foods that have high iron content. Your body will find it easier to break those down and use it. Still take the pills, but try to get more iron in your regular diet too.
I'm due the 29 & take iron pills & mine is still low
I'm due may the 13 but my doctor inform me I might have my baby in the beginning of may probably the 6
