Am I out for the month?

Hello, all!

DH and I have been TTC.  This is only our first cycle of really trying, but I felt very confident that we had actually done it successfully this month!  This is only my second cycle off BC (which I was only on for 3 months).  My last AF was 10/08/08.  I usually have 27-28 day cycles, but the first one sans pill was 31 days.  I am now 13 dpo, and was expecting AF to come yesterday or today.  I had ovulation pains the 20th and the 22nd, and we BD a week before they started, throughout, and a week after they ended.  I have no symptoms really, except very tired (bed around 9 am (even before time change), frequent need to nap, extreme thirst, and cramping yesterday.  Small amounts of cramps this morning, and a tiny amount of brown in CM (internal, around cervix).  So far still no AF. Fingers crossed, but would this be too late for implantation?  I used a First Response test on 12dpo, before the cramps started, and it came back negative.  Should I wait a few more days and test again?  Thanks!

I would take another test, this is my DH and I's 3 month of really TTC since I've been off the pill, I was on the pill for almost 11 years so my periods seem to still be out of wack.  I am about now 3 weeks late but I've taken 2 HPT and both came back negative...

I am awful at  this stuff, but I am thinking I would wait a few more days and test again if AF doesn't show. Good luck!
