Blood & urine test results

So I went in today for my first official prenatal appointment and they did a blood draw and took a urine sample. The only thing is is that they won't tell me the results of the tests until our first ultrasound in 3weeks when I'm 10weeks along. How come? Thanks in advance :)

Wow thats no good :( Luckily I had the chicken pox when I was a little kid so I should have immunity to it still I hope :) I guess we'll find out. Hopefully you dont pick it up during your pregnancy :)

No. I have to avoid anyone with chicken pox while pregnant! That could be dangerous if I caught it while pregnant. Not to mention I'm an adult and they usually kick your butt as an adult. Ill get a booster shot after I deliver!

Oh. Yeah I had my iron levels checked when I got signed up for WIC and they were good. Hopefully they still are. So are you better now did you end up getting chicken pox?

Infections, iron level, stds, etc.... Depending on history could be other things. Like I was checked to see if I'm immune to chicken pox or not!

That's a normal thing. Unless there is something abnormal that comes back they won't call. My Dr called Mr because one of my tests came back not so hot. (I've never had chicken pox, and my numbers came back bad.) Everything else I waited till my next appt for the results.
