GO back to the ER

I'm in my third month but the same thing happened to me on Tuesday, except I had bright red blood so I went in and they told me I was having a threatened miscarriage which the definition they gave me was, a pregnancy that threatens to end before the twentieth week but usually continues without issue after treatment from your doctor and the only treatment I got for that was bed rest and my baby is fine. Anyway while I was there they did a bunch of tests and they said I had a UTI which can cause a miscarriage if it goes untreated to long. I asked if I could take a uristat until I got the antibiotics because I couldn't get them until the next day and they said Uristat isn't approved during pregnancy because they haven't had enough studies done on it but I was so uncomfortable from the UTI I took one anyway and it helped me get through the night until I got my prescription. So my advice is (only if you cannot handle it because there is a risk taking it) take a Uristat and lay in bed for the rest of the day and don't stress about it to much unless its a lot of bright red blood. A little is ok, but if it's a lot I'd go back to the ER especially if your Also cramping really bad because you might be miscarrying if that's the case. I hope everything turns out ok. Good luck.
