Braxton hicks with 23 days to go....

So through out my whole pregnancy I haven't had any Braxton hicks until yesterday, and they were horrible! Does this mean he is getting ready to come??

I've had the BHC since 30 weeks & nothing yet. I'm 38w 1d & I'm still getting them far apart. Some people only get them close to due date,  hopefully you're one of them. Good luck!

They are warm up contractions! Prepping your uterus for the actual full on labor contraction! Could mean labor is in route or just your uterus is warming! Some women have them starting at 28wks...some don't get them at all and bam labor is here! Most important thing to do is keep track of them! (shoul only have 4 a hour any more then that you should be checked) When they start to get regular and close together that is a sign labor is on its way! Once they stay longer with only 5-10 minute breaks in between labor is here and you should go to labor and delivery!
