Were any of you on some kind if birth control when you got pregnant?

I took my pill every day for almost a year and still ended up pregnant with my baby boy.

I'm super excited and wouldn't change a thing but I'm just curious how often it actually happens.

Really ash? I know I was taking mine the first few weeks of pregnancy but my doctor never red flagged it. But from my ultrasounds the baby is fine so maybe they were just monitoring without trying to scare me.

I am a birth control and condom baby according to.my mom I really wanted to be here. I m wasn't doing anything to prevent this pregnancy but we weren't trying either.

I was on BC for 2 years...the pill...and got pregnant...after using it for 2 years

Yes, I actually had a shot for depo. I took a pregnancy test before I got the the shot. It was negative then 6 weeks later I went to the hospital and they said I was pregnant.

I was on the pill too... took it for first four weeks of pregnancy too I had to have scans at five weeks to make sure bby was growing in right place etc...
as it can cause issues..
I did miss take pills late in April. But dr says I was already pregnant then so missed pills weren't the issue..

Haha wow I guess it's just fate for some of us to have babies no matter what we do.

My first daughter i was on the Orthoevera patch for 7 months.
My second daughter i was on the Implonon (nexplonon) for a year, had to have out removed the day of my first OB appt.
My third child (current pregnancy) I just got off birth control and got my positive 3 DAYS later, so i believe i was pregnant before i stopped BC, lol.

Previously my mother got pregnant with me on the pill and then she had an appointment to insert and IUD because she didn't want to take the pills anymore when i was 2 months old and found out she was pregnant again.
So it runs in the family i guess.

Yeah I think the implants are called iud? It's something they put in your cervix. Yeah maybe a different one would work I'm just skeptical of it failing twice. Oh well I gotta try something after this is over because one surprise, although pleasant is enough for a while.

Yeah the shots freak me out as well . Ive heard soo much bad not enough good . I didnt even know about any implants but that jist sounds freaky , but there are many different kinds of bc pills . Maybe try a different kind . There are like brands and what not .

Really? Wow. I've been thinking of investing in some other kind of BC after my son is born other than the pill but the shots and implants really freak me out.

Im a birth control baby . I know alot of other people who are as well , it seems to happen alot .
