If your concern is that you aren't producing enough milk as long as baby is wetting his/her diapers it's fine! Now if alternating from bottle to breastfeeding milk is something you want to do my opinion is that's that's fine I did that with my daughter and didn't stop producing milk I was able to do both and I loved it!! And still breast fed my daughter for 3 years! I think the sooner the better so they don't get use to just breast!! But like I said everyone's different it's just what is easier and best for you and baby!! This is just my opinion....
If your concern is that you arent producing enough milk as long as baby is wetting diapers he/she shoulI don't see why not alternate bottle and breast!! I think everyone is different it just depends what you prefer to do
Do not mix it with formula. Your baby's tummy can only hold up to about and ounce or two of milk. You will only produce what the baby needs to eat. As long as he is wetting diapers he's fine. If you start to mix in formula you will stop producing milk or won't produce more than a couple of ounces per breast.
If your baby wets at least 6 dipers a day he/she gets enough of milk. Breast milk is fully sufficient until they are 6 mo old. But if you have other concerns, discuss it with his/her dr.
