CAN yOU GET PREGNANT BEFORE 0R AFTER PERiOD??

some ppl tell me you cant get pregnant before your period
and then some ppl say you can..which is it?im soo confused

i had sex the 31st next day got my period(sept.1)I had sex again sept.4th when I thought my period was done which It wasnt It was just real light.on the 8th i had very light pink bleeding just when i used the bathroom and that was for 2days(could It be implantation bleeding?)Now sept. 18th-21st I had right side pains below my bellybutton and it changed to my left somtimes(I heard It could be round ligament pain?)soo could I be pregnant??or am I crazy to think you could get pregnant before or after your period???

I got pregnant on my period. With my first daughter n now with baby #3. and baby due around same time as my first. so anything is possible.

When you are unsure of signs of ovulation it is safe to assume that any time you have sex protected or otherwise you may become pregnant.  Short of abstinence there is no sure way to not become pregnant.

okay so your telling mei could be pregnant by having unprotected sex a day before I got my period

You get pregnant during ovulation, which occurs about 14 days (2 weeks) BEFORE your expected period. You can get pregnant before OR after a period, sweetheart.

Depends how long your cycle is,you will ovulate roughly 14 days before your period.you cant ovulate during your period.example.if your periods come every 24 days,then you would ovulate cd10.so if you had period lasting 5 days,had sex just after,sperm will be waiting for the egg.you need to have a gab of 12 days from ovulation till your period in order for a pregnancy to occur.you cant get pregnant by having sex day before your period.your period happens when the egg isnt fertilized and the linning sheds.this is a period.ligament pain dont happen until 7 weeks plus.the light bleed you had on the 8th may have been after bits of period.sounds like the 18th etc you were experiencing ovulation pains.

You can get preg any time of the month. Women ovulate at different times of the month and whoever says you cannot get preg right before or after your period are WRONG.  You may be having ovulation pains right now....I get them when I am not preg and they kinda feel like period pains. I would not stress and wait for your period to come. If it is late then take a test. :) Hope this helps.
