CONTRACTIONS OR BRAXTON HICKS???

I'm 38weeks & 4days as a ftm. So today I went to the doc today & I'm dilated 2cm. Thing is now I'm having symptoms that feel like braxton hicks but their very frequent & their lasting a good minute. Idk I'm confused idk what to do???

I'm waiting for my cramps to get stronger or contractions whatever they are because I don't want them to send me back if its too early

I'm starting to feel cramps and my tummy is still tight idk if their contractions.

I actually just had this talk with my doctor as I'm a ftm. She said the Braxton hicks shouldn't hurt and if you get back pain or cramps then that's the signs they are looking for for labor

You could be going into labor I had my first two children at 38wks

Omg I'm not sure if their more than 6 in one hour but each one last a long time & as I'm writing this I'm starting to feel cramps. @Destynee2015

Im 37 weeks with my 3rd and having same thing. As u approach ur due date, they will become more frequent and stronger. My OB always says if I have more than 6 of them for more than 1 hour, go into l&d.
