Can I still be pregnant after a miscarriage?

Hello,
     I miscarried at 7-8 weeks it took three weeks of bleeding because I chose to have a natural miscarriage, I have waited till the forth week to take a pregnancy test and its still positive!! So my doctors keep testing me and I am still showing positive!!! Is it even possible to still be pregnant?? Please help me

They sure are hun.cant understand why they making her do more pee samples.its obvious they should be checking blood level.Ha somtimes we have tell them how to do there job,What a joke ;)

Docs in the UK are crap!!! LOL..
erm, Get them to check your HCG levels.. instead of making you wee Loads"!

Yes it is very possible.But as cassandrajane has said your hormone level needs to drop.once gets below 5 then you should ovulate,no saying when,thus getting period,unless of course you did concieve again.it maybe that you still have lingering hormones left.if your doctor is still testing then he should have explained this to you.see your from uk,they will keep checking your blood levels.ask them if levels are going up or down.

YES!
BUT your HCG needs to be 5 or under for you to actually ovulate again! I MC'd and got preg in the same week, I am now 25 weeks. Just because your last pregnancy ended in MC doesnt mean your next one will!

But YES you can!
