Thanks girls! I feel better now that I've got some input on this. I'm sure it's low blood pressure and the lack of water I'm NOT drinking!! I should drink more but it's hard when it doesn't taste good to me! Ugh! I'm doing the crystal lite things and that seems to work I just need to keep doing it! :) I'll keep you updated!
I had that with my first pregnancy. Usually it was when I would lay down on my side. I can't remember which one-the one that you are SUPPOSED to lie down on. Is that your left??? I would literally feel my heart take a nose dive. Sometimes I would get it standing up. My doctor also said it was low blood pressure but it never made any sense to me because my blood pressure, which is normally very low was always Higher during pregnancy.
Regardless, Fainting and feeling dizzy is usually normal but trust your instincts, if you think it is something more stress your concern and talk to your doc again.
I HAVE HAD THIS FOR A WEEK NOW. MY DR SAID IT WAS LOW BLOOD PRESSURE AND LOW IRON. I FEEL REALLY WEAK AND DIZZY ALOT. MY BLOOD PRESSURE IS NORMALY 130/90 AND NOW STAYS IN THE 90/50 RANGE. THEY SAY IT IS NORMAL IN THE 2ND TRIMESTER. THIS IS MY 3RD PREGNANCY AND FIRST TIME HAVING THESE SYMPTOMS. STAY WELL HYDRATED AND EAT SMALL MEALS EVERY 2 HRS OR SO THAT HELPS ME ALONG WITH FREQUENT STILL PERIODS THROUGH MY DAY. KINDA HARD W/ 2 5 YR OLDS AND A 12 YR OLD MUCH LESS HOUSEWORK AND HUSBANDS AND PETS ETC. GOOD LUCK.
Yeah They checked my iron leve and everything there was fine. I dont get them very often I think the last time I felt like fainting was before Christmas. Ugh! Like I said I told my Dr. and she didn't seem to worry about it so I figured it was fine. I make sure to eat and stuff but I don't know. I just hate it!
It used to happen to me all the time. Ugh. I found out it was because I had pregnancy anemia.
They say that this is very normal.....especially in your First/second trimester due to the surge in blood flow and hormones! I know its a horrible feeling when it comes on but definitely sit or lay down and try and drink some OJ or cold water and it should pass!
I have that problem but mine is caused by a rapid heartbeat and I am actually on beta blockers for it. I would say if you have ANY way to prevent it from actually happening to do your best because it can cause problems from what I have been told by my cardiologist and my OB/GYN... Good Luck!
