Can my pet being sick harm me?

My puppy is sick with round worms and I was just wondering with her being so sick if it could harm me and my baby? I am almost 5 months (19 weeks 5 days exact). I am making her an appointment in the morning and have been giving her medication and home treatments.

Alright :) Thanks, hun! :) We've had a lot more problems than usual because one puppy gives it to another and so on. It's just a big pain in the butt, lol

O also disinfect anywhere that the puppy has gone potty in the house if it isn't potty trained yet just another little thing just in case

U shouldn't touch the medication wear gloves or something and make sure if u are cleaning up after her to wear gloves just to be safe...or just have someone else do it all would be ur best bet I've had to deal with worms a few times because we have had new pets come in the house and most r born with them so baby cats and dogs have them when u get them most times its not hard to get rid of just make sure u don't touch the worms or medication with ur skin :)
