I have the same problem. But I still can't get rid of it. And I have been given 3 medications. Pills didn't work and now the 2 diffrent vaginal cream and also didn't work so I have the apt with the Dr tomorrow see what can be done. But most women can get rid of it with just the pills so don't worrie.

I had to be treated for BV twice during my pregnancy. My doctor did explain that if left untreated, BV can on rare occasions cause miscarriage or preterm birth,But only if you had the disease for many months while pregnant. if treated during the first couple of months of infection it does not have time to affect fetus.  First I was given oral treatment but when that did not work I was given vaginal cream. Both were safe to take only after 16 weeks pregnant, which you are.
