No complications though my son was perfect
I had back labor with my first... It was horrible... I didn't even feel anything in my stomach... Just knives in my back... Just being honest praying for you
I had back labour with my daughter, and it's a pain ill never forget - I think cutting my leg off would really have hurt less. In the start it was just a bad cramp that would come and go, and they started to get closer and closer. Mine started in my lower back and would wrap around to the lower half and middle of my abdomen and gradually got more and more painful. Eventually it was coming almost constant and got to be around 1-3 minutes apart. At that point I couldn't breathe, think, move.. In my experience and those I've talked to, you'll know if that's it.
There are no complications really. None that you don't have with typical contractions. They do say though that usually back labour is caused from how the baby is lying (sunny side up) and that also proved true for me. She was face up and turned slightly.
Oh well my contractions always start in the back to the front, but after awhile they stop. I've asked my doctor nd he just brushes it off, hes so uninformative its annoying.
Not likely any serious complications but if you search any descriptions of real vs false labor any pain that feels like waves from back to front could be real so you may be in labor.
