They are all common symptoms of both pregnancy and starting to take the pill. The only way to know is to test in a couple of weeks. It is more likely to be your body adjusting to the pill but I would test just to be on the safe side. Good luck!
it hadn't been 72 hours before I had sex.
The symptoms could also be from starting the pill again. I'd say the chances are that you're not pregnant if you're bleeding again. It's always possible though. I think birth control is 99% effective after 72 hours.
I was sure it was over. It's not very heavy. it's just spotty right now. my periods are usually heavy though and only last for about 3 to 5 days. I've never had any side effects from any medicines. not even birth control. my breasts started hurting me friday afternoon. prior to sex on thursday and early friday morning
Well, I know that when you first start taking birth control it takes up to a month to completely protect you from pregnancy. And missing a dose also puts you at risk for getting pregnant. As for your breast tenderness that could be a side effect of the birth control (this happens to me too). How heavy did you bleed when you were on your period? Are you sure it was completely over before taking you bc? And how much are you bleeding now?
