Has anyone else had to have them and how do they do em.. does it hurt!?

Nina159- No only if you are at a risk for delivering the baby preterm before the lungs are fully developed.

I had the shots as well. Other than it hurts when they do it (its not even really that bad) it is sore for a little while after and might bruise. Mine bugged for maybe a day or two and then was forgotten.

I had my first steroid shot today hurt like no other, im 29 weeks & having a hard time keeping it together. There is no symtpoms other then a little sore after. Any one have advice for us women going thru this?. For me this is my first child?

Had them with my second baby at 34wks.....they r in the buttocks/upper thigh....they hurt a bit when injected but thats it......no major side effects for me.....2 dose shot 24hrs apart

I got those shot with my youngest son on the but and it hurt lile hell cause the medicen is so thick

I had them with 2 of my kids since I delivered early. They are not painful n u wont have major side effects that I know of.

They usually only do blood thinner shots (I think, I don't remember the name of it) in your stomach.

I got mines 3wks ago. They give it every 24hrs(just 2shots) in the butt.
