I'm 36 w also and I get a lot of bh and most of them come with pressure in my pelvic area. And I get the sharp pains in my cervix from his head pressing down. I was check today and no dilation and cervix is still high. Time ur contractions to see if their regular. If they are not then more than likely there just braxton hicks. Mine have been getting pretty intense. Which I'm happy for. Means my body is getting ready for labor.
I've tried using pillows and they work sometime, but tonight i can't seem to get any rest. I'm supposed to make an appointment soon for an ultrasound to see if I'm dilated at all.
There were times I swore my baby was going to fall straight out. I would have BH that were a little more than uncomfortable. Have you tried using a maternity pillow? I didn't get one in time with my first baby so I used a bunch of pillows. I put two between my knees, one behind my back to keep me from lying flat and one under my belly and had my knees bent a little. That helped me a lot. I was miserable. And I had so much extra fluid on my legs and feet as well so it was not easy getting comfortable. You can always use a body pillow or whatever you have on hand.
I can walk, just slowly at first. But i can feel her head in my pelvic area whenever i stand and i can feel her on my tail bone when i sit. Right now I'm sitting up bc laying down doesn't feel good either.
Do It hurt that bad? Can you walk? or it's just uncomfortable?
