Caster oil or primrose oil?

Do they do the same thing ? Or what's the difference ? I refuse caster oil because of the dangers of it but I was wondering if primrose would work the same or what ? Found our was dilated to only a 1 but the baby head is crazy low so I'm trying to get her out (: any suggestions ?

DO NOT use castor oil. It can cause the baby to be in distress. The list goes on and on of what could happen to your sweet baby if you take castor oil

Primrose oil helps to soften and prepare your cervix (effacement), castor oil is intended to cause the uterus to contract which cause dilation and diarrhea.

However that's not always the case with castor oil.
