The baby actually takes a bowel movement in your uterus and it will come out when you deliver... And its normal but I don't think that the oil thing sounds so safe hun. My midwife says when the baby is ready it will come just have patience and relax.
Thanks guys I didnt try it but I was curious I did research before posting and from what I found personally it said it cannot harm the baby but it did say it can cause vomitting and diarrhea
I wouldn't use it either. Fit pregnancy magazine just had an article about wives tales for inducing labor and it said that castor oil can work by irritating the bowels but can have really nasty side affects including explosive diarrhea. There's not much dignity in child birth anyhow the last thing i would want add iscrapping my pants Iin front of strangers lol. The article went on to say that spicy foods can induce labor just like castor oil without the nasty side affects. I'm sure the article is still up if you checked their website.
What it does is triggers your bowls which irritates you're uterus which causes contractions and us very stressful on baby, my mom did it with her third and it did put her into labor but she also had diarrhea while giving birth...idk about you but i do not want that to happen to me lol
I took two tbsp mixed with orange juice on two different days. Had some cramping didn't poop and didn't go into labor. The most your suppose to take at one time is 4 tbsp I have read. Good luck :-)
I wouldn't. It can cause diarrhea and vomiting and lead to dehydration. It can also cause baby to have a bowel movement in utero which is dangerous.
Check with your Dr on a safe dosage.
Idk what ur "supposed to do" but personally i wouldn't take it because it can harm the baby if i were u i would research it more and then think about what u wanna do :) just my opinion
None of it is "safe " there are risks to drinking it but most drink just a little bit with orange juice personally I've never done it though
