Cephalexin
Has anyone else had to take Cephalexin while pregnant? I'm 19 weeks and taking 3 pills a day for a week for an infection on my toe. I'm a big worry wart as this is my first pregnancy and I'm wondering if anyone else has taken it or had any problems.
I had to take it 3x a day for bronchitis last month. It gave me a yeast infection (the only one this pregnancy...31 weeks now). The yeast infection wasn't horrible (no smell, no discharge) but it was very annoying (very itchy, swollen, burned a little). If this happens to you just use otc monistat. Stay hydrated and eat yogurt. It obviously didn't work for me lol but everyone is different. Feel better soon!
