Cervix Short

Has anyone had a short cervix and everyone turned out fine with their baby?

No not much I was just told today at 20 weeks that my cervix was a little short but she assured there is nothing worry about, at least for now.

I asked my doctor about how a short cervix would affect pregnancy and labor vs a normal or long one and was told there really wasn't any issues either way. A cervix is a cervix.

Is there a more defining term for this out of curiosity?

I have a short cervix and that caused me to get a miscarriage at 17 weeks a year ago, so this time i got a cervical cercloge and now I am 25weeks 5days and me and my baby are doing fine just that Ive been on bed rest all the time and have to b that way till I give birth.
