Cisterna magnum

Hello, I m 25 weeks pregnant and it says  that "there is a prominent cisterna magnum in posterior fossa measuring up to 9 mm in maximal diameter, within upper limits of normal".
What does that mean? Do I have to worry? TNX

Within upper limits of normal means that it is still normal so you don't have to worry, they may monitor you more closely now though. the cisterna magnum is part of the membranes surrounding the brain and the posteria fossa is part of the internal brain cavity. This basically means that there is a large space (cisterna magnum) in the brain cavity (posteria fossa) that measures 9mm at the largest part but this is still within normal limits.

Hope that helps. try not to worry as it does say it is within the normal limits.
