Clear Leakage?

Might be a tad TMI, all depends on how you look at it lol. Anyways I have noticed the past 3 days that when I lay down I start having some fluid leaking. It's not slimy or anything like discharge, or sexual arrousement(sp), but it's quite noticebale. It doesnt leave my vagina, or leak down my leg or anything, it just seems to be extra watery in that area. It only occurs at night when I lay down, and sometimes I have some in my panties. It doesnt occur all the time, like lastnight it didn't happen, but the 2 nights before it did.

My doc asked if I was having any leakage of fluid at my last appointment, and I did notify him of it, but there is no way to test the fluid in his office, unless some happened to be in my urine.

Do any of you women know if I can get chemstrips from a store? The strips they use to test you for amniotic fluid? I am on a fixed income, and the L&D is about and hour and a half away and I have less than a half tank of gas.

What should I do?

i dont know if you need a prescription but if you do i am sure you could call your dr and have him/her call one in for you:) Good luck i hope you keep that little one in there for at least 2-3 more weeks.. you are in my thoughts

Thank you so much! Now do I need a prescription for the amniosense? or the chemstrips? I will have to call the pharmacy tomorrow as most of them here close by 6pm. Thanks again for the info it was very helpful!

by the way i have been looking online and seems you can get chemstrips from a local pharmacy and the strips for amnio are called amniosense.. i will keep looking to see if you can get them at a local pharmacy

i would call a few pharmacies and ask them..they may be able to provide you wil information and that way you save your time and gas if they dont have any.. and if they dont then i would call L&D...can anyone go for you.. i would be laying and keeping my legs high...
