Same issue i had especially when i opened my 0-3mths and saw that it was a bit ridiculously big. I bought about 5rompers and 3sets of pjs newborn size just in case. The rest are all 0-3months and above.

Keep your receipts for everything you buy!  I remember with my first babies there were soo many brandnew clothes they never even put on because they had overload of stuff! I bought a vibrating chair and my daughter didnt use it or like it she prefered the swing so i ended up returning it as well....no need to have extra baby stuff laying around taking up space!

You could buy a couple thing but keep your receipts!  That way if they end up being too small you can retuen them!

I think 0-3 is fine. You never know how big your baby will weight, and if they are more than 8 pounds then you wasted money because some newborn clothes only go to 8lbs. Also if doctors have gave you an estimated weight, i wouldnt go by that. My doctor said my son was going to weigh 6lbs, but when i had him he was 8.7lbs. So all the newborn clothes we bought and got didnt fir.
