Clots in menses... miscarriage?

We are actively ttc and I really thought we did, as I had a lot of the symptoms... However today AF showed up, but it is extremely heavy.  I just went to the bathroom and had some big clots.  I have never ever had this before.  Is this a sign of miscarriage?

thanks, I asked the doctor today and she said that I might have some clots because it is my first month off b/c and that it would also be the reason for being heavier.  I don't think it was a miscarriage b/c I did not have a lot of bleeding on the pad.

I normally have some clots with af.This past month I did have a miscarriage and it was horrible! A pad less then every hour and huge clots.I did get conformation that it was from the miscarriage.
I hope the doctor gives you some insight

A lot of women have chemical pregnancies. It couldve been that, the thing about ttc is that we learn so much about our bodies and analize every little thing that goes on. I looked back in my book from 2 years ago because i keep journals/calendars of my cycles and i always chart if something was different, and sure is s h i t, there were times when my cycle was like 3 days late and the flow was heavy and i had some clots. Now knowing what i no, i may have had like 3 chemical pregnancies in the past.

I would just talk to your dr and see what they recommend

yes it was a evaporation line if it turned postive LATER in the day. you throw out results after like 10 mins or so. take a test today if you are miscarrying it should show positive

i took a test on friday and it was negative, but turned positive later on in the day (could have been evaporation lines though).  I was waiting to test tomorrow if nothing happened... but something definitely did happen....

I can be, but it also may not. That is what happen to me in Jan. I had an early miscarriage. Sore breast took a test it came out positive but period came on time, blood clots & I never pass blood clots either so I knew what was going on & I also had lower back pain alot. You should talk to your doctor, but like I said the same thing may not be going on with you? Did you take a test?
