Confused . When is to soon ?

Hello ,
My cycle started on the 13th of  Feb . However , It normally would come of the 15th or each month. However , this month I just waited to see if it was going to start on the 13th or the 15th and it didn't come on either day . So now I'm two days late . I took a pregnancy test yesterday just to see and it came out negative .  I did take a dollar store test I don't know if that has anything to do with it .I have not had any major pregnancy symptoms other then frequent urination but I also did have a bladder infection a week ago .I have had minor cramping and sharp pains in my stomach . My question is when is to soon to test or when can I test ? Should I wait a couple of  days ?

I also forgot to add before I was infected with an uti . I was sexually active on the 23rd and  about 3 to 4 days later I was spotting for about a day . I read that it could be a meaning of fertility . Is that correct ?

If you aren't sure of when you ovulated a good rule of thumb is to wait 2 weeks after the last time you had intercourse.  By then the test should be pretty accurate.

Honestly, to me, it sounds like what you are currently experiencing is due to the UTI you had/have.  The cramping/pains and also the late period.  Any kind of illness can actually cause your body to miss a cycle.
