Confused abouth the odds..........

I have been on sprintec since February. I have never missed a pill until the friday before my period (may 15), I had lost it somehow. The following wednesday I started my period, it lasted for 2 days then stopped for 2 days then spotted for a day I went to start my new pack of pills on that Sunday, and I saw that I had thrown the good pack of pills away and only had the non hormone pills from the last pack on my counter. It was Tuesday(may 26) until I was able to get my new rx filled. I took 2 on tuesday, and 2 on wednesday. So that was about 11 days with no pills. I have been sexually active within the last 2 week and the last several days. Are the chances pretty slim that I would become pregnant? Also I have been kinda crampy, and thiafternoon I havs sharp pains on my right side (ovary like area) for an hour or so. Im not due for a period until the 24th....Is it just all in my head, or should I really be concerned?

To be honest I don't know the odds, but I'm sure it is possible that you could have gotten pregnant in that time frame.  Some women trying to conceive get pregnant within in the first month of stopping pills, while others it can take months.  I know when I've missed pills, sometimes I will spot the next few days, because your body gets trained to think that when you stop the pill you should get your period.  The pain in your ovary could be from ovulating - when you ovulate your body switches sides each month as to which side releases the egg.  Most women ovulate about 2 weeks before their periods or due.  Not really sure what to tell you, other than maybe take a pregnancy test.
