My gf missed her first period on her second month on Loestrin. We freaked out cause we thought she was pregnant. Took a pregnancy test twice a week after she had missed her perdiod.
This month she is late again and now worried again, thought haven't been intimate this last month.

It may take a month or two to regulate her periods with the BCP's. Give it another month and if it still isn't regular, she should talk with her doctor.

There is no reason for worry. These tablets are given for contraception or regulation of period. As long as she is taking it regularly there is very low chances of pregnancy. Normally with use of this drugs the menstrual cycle becomes regular and predictable. Continue drugs as per schedule and she will be fine.
