Confused!?!?!
Just confused nd wondering why everyone tells u tht ur pregnant for 9 months wen ur actually prego for 10..I'm a ftm nd was just wondering why.
thats if every month only had 4 weeks (28 days) which there is only 1 month like that so technically your better off averaging the months to 30.5 days which would average the weeks per month to 4.4 weeks... so by going with only 4 weeks your short days... to figure out how many months i was i counted back from my due date... so say its the 1st of october then the 1st of september i would be 8 months and the 1st of Aug i would be 7... or i would say how many weeks i was... it would be so much easier if there were the same amount of days in every month! lol
Its the way pregnancy is tracked versus the calendar. We are pregnant (avg) for 40 wks which make 10 perfect 4wk months, but if you look at a calendar their months aren't a perfect 4 weeks so its 9 calendar months
Because before you actually get pregnant is included in the pregnancy "cycle" so really you're only confirmed pregnant for 9 months but the time you start your period is included in the 40 wks...its silly I know
Isnt that the truth! Im 39w1d and thatll make me 10 months on thursday my due date!!
