Constipation

I am 7weeks and just now i am getting constipated with tummy pains and cramps. is it normal? this baby is my first. and if so what can i do that can help me?

You can take a stool softener with your prenatal to help.  Plus like the others said fiber and water :-)  Good luck I had this problem at the beginning too.

Constipation & cramping is normal. Eat more fiber to help keep you regular & go on walks twice a day. I'm also 7w along & have ibs (irritable bowel syndrome)- I stay constipated even before pregnancy but I've been able to go pretty regularly by just implementing more fiber in my diet & walking for around 30 min twice a day. I would refrain from taking any laxatives before getting approval from your ob.

its quiet normal in early pregnancy crumps and stomach pain, constipation is also normal but avoide any type of pills at this time, eat good food it happens because ur stomach stores nutration many vitamins from ur food thats y u has consp and Psyllium is very use ful in whole pregnancy u can take one table spoon in the yogurt and eat it two times in a day. spenat also good and banana also. congrts............best of luck both of u

I'm also 7 wks and having the same problem...I've been taking a few fiber pills and eat activia yogurt! Good Luck! :)
