Drink lots and lots of water. Add a lot more fruits, leafy greens, oatmeal, and fiber to your diet. It can also be your prenatals that are backing you up. It's usually the iron supplements that do this. I switched mine to Citranatal 90 DHA and have been going on a regular basis ever since. It has a stool softener added into the vitamins which makes everything come out easier.
maybe try eating fiber cereal in the morning? My cousin told me prune juice and pear juice work really well for babies. So I'm not sure if it helps for adult
