mucus plug

When did you mommies start to lose your mucus plug an how did you know it was your plug an not normal discharge? I'm 29 weeks

I lost mine when I was in labor.  It was a lot more then normal discharge and was kinda yellow.

Im 37 weeks and started losing it this past saturday but i still see pieces of it.

I lost part of mine the other day at 28 weeks and 5 days. It looks like the clear snot when you blow your nose

I lost mine 2 weeks ago and it had some blood mixed in. Still pregnant lol

I'm 40 weeks + 4 days and i have not lost mine is this ok? Do some people just not lose there mucus plug at all and can still go into labour or?

I read that sometimes it has blood with it, and sometimes it doesnt. Also read when it has some blood, it means labour is closer then if it hadent had any. Not sure if thats true or not. With my first baby i had a c section so im not use to all this labour and contraction stuff lol

It doesn't always have blood.  When it does That's a sign that your cervix is thinning out

I lost some of mine at 29 weeks and every now and again I still see pieces of it I will be 34 weeks tomorrow

Oh okay so it has blood with the discharge okay. Thank you I was just wondering how you could tell the difference

Im 38 weeks and I lost mine 3 days ago. It has some blood with it which means I should be going into labour soon, but i havent felt any contractions or anything yet
