Contractions at 30+4... normal?

Hey ladies! I'm currently 30+4 baby measuring 31+6 so is it normal to have contractions at this point? I had to have a steroid shot at 27 weeks to close up my cervix I was 3 cm dilated, it only took me back down to a 2. Could he be coming or just playing games with his extremely excited parents emotions?

I've been measuring ridiculously far ahead my entire pregnancy (44cm at 37 weeks) and everyone thought I was going to go early but I'm 38+1 today and still no baby lol

I got painful BH around 30-32 weeks.. felt like period cramps and hurt pretty bad so it could be them! Goodluck with your scan :)

They're not really regular, kinda hit and miss. I was originally told they were BH but those shouldn't hurt. Baby is constantly moving so I don't think he has even engaged yet. I've got a scan tomorrow so I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Thank you!

Even if you are measuring a week or so ahead it still isnt normal at this time to be getting contractions your baby still isnt fully developed and is considered premature.. If youre getting regular contractions id give labour and delivery a call
