just look out for cramping, and tightening, understandable it may be difficult to feel with twins as you've got two moving in different positions at different times, but your stomach may entirely become hard for a moment, then feel like it releases the tension on it's own. you might want to just keep an eye out on any aches and pains, and if it doesn't feel right or seems to keep coming routinely and you can time between them, then write it down to have a record of it. Call in especially if you're uncomfortable. I find it difficult that they sent you home being so far along, yet not far enough along. labor is different for everyone, and there's no telling what it will be like for you, and if this is your first, it may be hard to tell what you're feeling, or if you're feeling something that would be a concern. I went through the same at 26 weeks with preterm labor (only pregnant with one though, not twins). I had no idea what to look for, and spotting was what sent me in to L&D, otherwise I would have just stayed home, thinking nothing of it. If I were you, I'd just keep bothering the he** out of your doctor lol. Call call call. any time anything is going on, call. make records of your symptoms and bug them. I honestly feel like they should have put you on strict bed rest in the hospital, not at home. Good luck to you hun! I'm sure everything will be alright, just keep an eye out!
Honestly follow your gut. With my twins I did not feel my contractions either, but I had chest pains. I told my husband to take me to the hospital and he said no. Well i pressed him to and when we got there i was 2 cm and 90% effaced. They were all surprised I felt none of the contractions pointing at the monitor you dont feel that. Well they tried to stop it put me on magnesium and my waters broke 7 hours later. I was air lifted to a hospital that had a nicu where i was given an ultra spund to find out one waa breech the other transverse. Emergency section they were born at 32 weeks.
Thank you. I was asked if my cramps had subsided after the medicine and I told them I didn't even feel any cramps! I was so confused at first. I'll just bother my dr. She already has been warned that I'll be a paranoid mess.
