Contractions?

Ok I know that a lot of women post about contractions as ftm. I am having a pain that I think "may" be contractions. I keep having a pain that is literally in my vagina but further up like in my cervix area. I feel like my son's head is putting a lot of pressure on my bladder but then the pain is really really sharp and stabby like. It has been going on for about 30 min and it isn't time consistent at the moment. I am sorry if it seems like a dumb questuon but I am 39+3 and have no idea if it is contractions or not.

Lol my lower back always hurts but it is probably because I sit so much. I have been having Braxton hicks for a while then because the pain I was having I have had before just not as consistent as it was about 45 min ago. Lol if he doesn't come by Sunday on his own my Dr. plans on starting the induction process since I have gestational diabetes.

You are welcome are you getting pain on ur lower back like burning sensation? Ftm but im trying to find an answer to every q its hard not knowing things that freak me out lol  I think ur baby is getting ready to come into this world (: our body is preparing..That's why we're getting these pains.

Ok thank you for responding everyone I tried to ask already went to bed for the night. My hubby has to work early in the am and I didn't wanna go up to the hospital if it wasn't legit since he would loose sleep,

Im going through the same thing my friend told me if they are irregular they are braxton hick contractions if they are close together and gets more and more painful they are legit contractions . And Maybe you are feeling that because ur baby is really low.. I get confused too but pay close attention if you are worried or have questions call ur doc.
