I didn't know my water had broken when I was in labour. I didn't leak at all. My contractions just got more painful and intense and eventually I was in enough pain that I went to the hospital. They were never consistent. They went between 2 minutes apart to 10 minutes to 7 minutes etc.    They told me once I got to the hospital that my water was broken. I had no idea. I suggest you go to the hospital. Or at least call triage and see if they think you should go in.

It could be early signs of labor. Your uterus is preparing for labor. I measured 4cent for 3 weeks before my water broke 5 weeks early.

If it hurts that badly your water could have broken. Are you at the hospital yet???
