Usually you know it's real contractions when they become time able and closer together. A good rule of thumb to know when they're real and to head to the hospital is 4 minutes apart, lasting 1 minute each, for 1 hour. My contractions stetched into my back and gradually got more intense.
False contractions dont last long and wont repeat.. Real contractions will start with a long time interval.. Ul feel like a sharp pain in lower abdomen and back.. It wont b that sharp at first and wd dissapear after a lil time .. And again start after 30 min.. Some have one hr break too.. Gradually the pain will increase and the time span between pain will decrease
False contractions hurt like bad period cramps in my case they'll come for a while and cause my uterous to contract a couple of times they hurt but don't get any closer together or worse as far as pain. Real contractions are awful just the few I've had have stopped me in my tracks and had me hudled over in pain they usually start in my back travel to the top of my belly and work their way down into my pelvis feels like baby is trying to rip his way out of my belly hurts like hell and from what I hear only gets worse when your in active labour but I wouldn't know i'm a ftm 37 weeks and haven't gotten that far yet
false contraction feel like period contraction but not as bad and they don't last long. You'll def know when you start getting real contractions lol
