3D-4D ultrasound question??

So super excited for ultrasound on 29th!!! Of course its elective so we are paying for it..... my question is they have $99 package you get 6 black white pics and 4 colored and 15 minutes of scan time.....Do you guys think that will be enough time????? The other package is 160 but you get 8 black and white 6 colored CD and DVD and 30 min scan time!!!! I'd love to do this but its so much more money...... but we would do it if we thought we would be happier??? I dunno never had one done so I don't know if 15 minutes is long enough..... I just don't want to get there and wish after 15 minutes we would have done the other package. What do you guys think???

I had one at 19 weeks (couldn't wait to see my little man LOL- I posted the pictures here) and I signed up for a package that says 15-20 min scan and I was there for at least 30 min. The tech was having fun trying to get him to move and it was really awesome to see. Anyways I paid $115 for a 15-20 min scan (got 30 min anyhow) and got 6 printed colored pictures plus a CD of 75 additional colored pictures. I'm going again when I'm 28 weeks and will do a 30 min scan. Have fun it's really amazing!

Thank you ladies!!! I have decided we are just gonna do the 30min package, I know that I will be dissapointed with the 15min! I cant wait to see our baby girl!!! I will def be posting pics soon!

I've never done an elective one at a place like that.  My doctor does the 3d/4d scans in his office.  I think that if it were me, I'd go with the cheaper package unless I just had the extra money to blow. Many of those places have a gaurantee that if they can't find the gender, you get to come back for free.  You may ask about that if you are hoping to find out from this ultrasound.  Another way to look at this is that even with the cheaper package...that's 6 b & w, 4 colored pics and 15 minutes of scan time MORE Than you would have just from your doctor.  So it's still a bonus!

Do they give you the option of changing your mind once your there? What if you did the bigger package, but then saw everything you needed to in the first 15 minutes?
