Its my birthday and i can cry if i want to!!! RIGHT???
So today its my birthday..lol...(happy bday to me) but i feel soo old...anybody else feel like this on there birthdaY!!?? I am 21 today and i know thats not old i just feel like im getting so old..my mom thinks its because i already have two kids and becuase i had my dd when i was 16!! Does anybody think thats the culprit..or is it possible i could be experiecning bb??

I never had a hard time turning any age until I turned 25. Something about that number...I just felt like I hadn't done anything with my life. All my friends were getting married or getting engaged. Most of them had families, etc. I was 25 and had nothing. Granted, now, I'm 25 and pregnant, but still no boyfriend, fiance or husband. But I think once my baby is born, I'm pretty sure s/he will fill the void in my life. :)

I felt old when I turned 21 as well but then I realized I could buy booze and go to club legally and it made things better. Or maybe it made things more depressing because I COULD legally do it. I don't know... enjoy it you've reached a milestone! :)
Happy Birthday! Whoo-hoo!!!! I think your mom is absolutely right! You're very young and you'll see it when you turn 30; you're going to wish you were 21 again. Not that 30 is old because it's not in the least, but usually as we get older, we think back and notice how we weren't old at all when we used to think we were :) Hope you had a wonderful b-day!
Anita i have been able to buy booze now sence i was 19..thats legal drinking age down here!! Where are you too?? lol I wish i could have a drink but i am not really into the pumping thing and i am breastfeeding so it will have to wait..when i am done breastfeeding ill be able to have a drink then!! lol..lets see by that time it could be my next bday!! hahah thanks guys!!

well thanx everyone for the bday wishes and the "support" lol..hehe but i have to say it felt good last night when my fiance asked me to marry him again!! You see we got engaged the sept before last and broke up....i havea ring from that but i always said i think i should get another when your reeady to commit fully and not break up no more!! Just becuase i think it would be a new beginning( sence we were through alot) and the other one seemed condemmed or something!! lol...so anyways i came upstairs last night to get a drink and pee..and when i walked in the room the ring was there on the bed opened up in the box and he had daniel sitting up( holding him of course) and he said mommy will you marry us!! <3 i locedit i was shocked...i of course said what do you think...haha and he smiled which was funny because i never expected anything!! Anways im posting pics of my ring and heres the sad part...when i picked it out i wasent pregnant..lol..so now it dont fit my finger becuase i still have pregnancy weight on..but ill lose it an wear it then..he says well buy a chain and i can wear it around my neck if i want!! Anyways thanx again girls....i love you guys :) :) just like family...sometimes better! hehe take a look if you want!
I did not want to turn 25! I felt so old, and I was really upset that I was so old with no kids! I just knew that 25 was going to blow nanny goats because of it. Funny thing is that I conceived on my 25th birthday!
Happy birthday! I think everyone is right. Your teens ended pretty quick when you became a mommy, but think of it this way: You're going to be one YOUNG grandma, and be able to do a lot more with and feel like a pretty young for your age!

Hang in there! It sounds like you could use some 'you' time! Maybe your mom could watch the kids while you do something you enjoy?

hi im just like you i will be 22 in 3 weeks time i have 2 kids and 1 on the way and i feel soo old everyone says your only going to be 22 but i still feel old i do think sometimes you feel worse because you have kids i feel old because im going to be 22 with 3 kids and my oldest is 6yrs old.
to be honest i think everyone feels the same when the become a year older lol i know in 3 weeks time i will be crying my eyes out when i turn 22 lol

When I turned 21 I was crying...I felt old. I don't think it's b/c you have 2 babies. I think it's just an adjustment of coming out of your teens. I am 23 and I told DH on my last birthday I'm done....no more birthdays....but have fun your young!!!!! and congrats on your birthday again!!!

I was going to say life altering events, and things you do b4 adulthood can make you feel old. I did a lot in my 32yrs of life and i swear i feel 10yrs older.

hey hun... I think your mom is right... the reason you feel "old" is because you technically started your adult life very young at 16 .... I feel old too and Im only 23 ... lol... I think having children is def. a blessing but its also kind of sad because it marks the end of our own childhood/teenage years/collegeyears ... you know what I mean... having a child feels like the start of adult hood... I don't know if I said that right or not but hopefully you get what I mean
