i looked up the symptoms of endometriosis but i have none of the symptoms the medical sites said. i dont have pain when i have my periods, and i never cramp. i havent been tired for no reason, and my bowels arent painful or more often. could it still be endometriosis?
i dont have insurance, so i cant really go to the doctors. and where i live there arent any free clinics. im starting to get scared. could this be serious?
it could explain the period at different times and the heaviness or shortness. HOwever, an ob/gyn told me if i fill a pad in an hour or less call them immediatey, and if your filling a super tampon in an hour, it's something to get checked out. i have dealt with endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrom and bicornate uterus and cervix. I have been most successful with metformin to medicate the PCOS, during an ultrasound i was questioned about my endometriosis prior to that ultrasound. I believe there MAY be some evidence in ultrasounds of endometriosis. It is supposed to be more challenging for people in my situation to get pregnant, but now pregnant with child #2
would endometriosis explain the earlier period and the fact that it was lighter and shorter?
Well the only way to know if you have endometriosis is via a laproscopy. If you are filling a tampon an hour you NEED to tell your doctor. That is just too heavy and could be the sign of a problem. If you have endo then you most likely won't be able to conceive or will have a very difficult time conceiving until the old tissue is removed. Which is why I'm insisting you tell your doctor so you can get answers and reassurance.
Implantation bleeding is usually very light, hence the word "spotting". Spotting means that you only see blood when you wipe. Some women may get a scant amount of bleeding on the undies or a pad.
ive always had heavy periods, my whole life. my doctor has never said anything about it. i was just wondering if the difference in days and flow could have been heavy implantation bleeding.
has anyone experienced heavy implantation bleeding?
If you change your tampon hourly then you may need to see your doctor. That is quite heavy and a very heavy period could be the sign of endometriosis or other issue going on. Women with endo also have clotty periods that are very heavy.
Make sure you're drinking enough water if you're having dizzy spells. Dizziness can be caused by the loss of too much blood as well. Swelling is also not good. Most women who are pregnant do not experience swelling until the third trimester when the baby is so large and the woman begins retaining fluid.
I'd definitely call your doctor and speak to them about running some tests. Good luck! Hopefully it is nothing.
